Petal pairs two distinct folk motifs in strict alternating columns — a full open daisy, centered inside an oval leaf frame like something pressed and preserved, and a bold tulip stem with splayed leaves rising beside it. They repeat across the entire surface in deep black on white, each form holding its ground, the two of them producing a vertical rhythm that reads as a single thing rather than two ideas placed next to each other. Up close, the detailing in each form rewards attention. Stepped back, the graphic confidence of the pattern takes over. It works at both distances.
